In 2017 I was wrestling with a call to step out of the pulpit full-time and into direct service ministry with the poor. My District Superintendent (UMC) recommended I make a connection with a clergy coaching service, Passion In Partnership. This was my first experience with professional coaching and I was rather hesitant about starting this journey. After a thorough interview with the coach matching counselor, I was put in touch with Chris Schoolcraft.

I was matched with Chris in late February 2018. In January 2019 I started full-time as a Program Director at a major Christian non-profit in my area. I cannot express my gratitude enough to convey how thankful I am to Chris for walking and navigating with me my transition in ministry.

There are a few key characteristics that make a coaching relationship work. Trust, honesty, and accountability are my top three. I needed someone who would invest in me with time and guidance to pursue and fulfill my Calling.
